Thanks to Nepheliad, WE HAVE A FORUM. It’s still a work in progress, but we hope that it can be a Cpop/C-entertainment forum that can grow to discuss Chinese-language music from all over so Please join! There’s also a shoutbox for easy live discussion of the New Years shows.
Secondly, I need writers for Cfensi. Next semester I’m adding on more classes, and will have minimal time. When I started this blog it was for fun, and I’ve always thought that once I came to that point I would just ditch it, but I don’t want to do that. There’s not enough Cpop resources as it is. So please, if you can help, help. There are a variety of ways to contribute and you don’t need to be literate in Chinese:
How you can help
1) Post Articles – You probably need some basic knowledge of Chinese for this, but I was fairly illiterate when I started. Also, this does not mean direct translation. There’s tons of background info in Chinese articles which you can cut out to save time, as long as the info is correct.
2) Post Videos (Peformances and MVs etc) – You don’t need to know how to read Chinese for this, just describe what is in the video, give context.
2) Post Photoshoots – You don’t need to know Chinese for this. Just be able to browse Sina, Sohu, or the Baidu Bars.
If you can post, I will send you an invite to wordpress, and add you as an author to the blog once you have a wordpress account. It’s that easy, and you can post whenever you want. And you are not limited to mainland China at all. There’s tons of stuff that doesn’t get covered in Chinese-language entertainment and we’d love to shed a spotlight on all of it.
I’ll help post stuff up!! But I’m probably going to have to create a new wordpress account.

i have Hunan TV on my TV but like the times are all different from those from China. >.<
@cfensi its actually very simple, you can purchase a domain for roughly 10 dollars, have it point/redirect towards the site. if you were to use webspace from my server, you wouldn’t need your blog to be hosted off of wordpress, but instead from the webspace provided.
What does that mean regarding the webspace?

You’ll have a lot more freedom regarding layouts and so forth, but you’ll probably have to mess around with code a little.
What I wish we could do is integrate the forum with the page itself… right now, they’re separated by hosting services and so forth. It’d make certain things a lot easier – basically, we could do something where actual articles make up the main site, and commentary goes on the forums, rather than having comments both at this blog and at the forum…
webspace allows for you to host websites and videos, basically an online storage space.
yes, you still post things the same way, you can even host your own wordpress on it, just that you might need to import your previous posts to the new one.
btw you can also host your own forum on the webspace
Ok…this is really hard for me, who has minimal knowledge of web stuff, to understand, so bear with me as I stumble around here.

yeah, you can integrate the blog with a forum, but i find it easier to just setup a portal on a forum, and post your articles through the forum, which will appear on the portal such as the one on my site, dramaddicts.com
