Actually, a lot of so-called Christian symbols (e.g. the cross) and mythology (e.g. virgin birth) all predate Christianity.

Besides, if God wanted the Chinese to be Christian he would have sent his son to China and we would be praying to a guy called Jesus Chang.</description>

		<description>I hope for the rapid spread of Christianity in China, and there is evidence of that already. The government is gradually becoming more lenient.

My view is that China desperately needs Christianity to fill the moral emptiness left there by rampant capitalism. And I say Christianity because it has teachings very similar to Chinese culture. Anyway, way back before Buddhism and Taoism, Chinese worshiped Shangdi. If you look at Chinese characters, there is a ton of Christian symbolism in there too.
