i think this also has something to do with politics. japans new president/prime minister hakoyama is very pro china-japan rellations. his grandfather, and father all wanted to biuld long lasting ties with china. and if anyone has noticed, USA, is currently bashing and being biased toward this new japanese administration.

Holy sh*t….this is big. I thought Johnny has been eyeing the Chinese market ever since Arashi held a learning Chinese special tv series a few years ago pre-Beijing Olymics and said they’d be releasing a full Chinese album…of course I’m not sure if it ever happened…but he’s definately been thinking about it.

Johnny’s don’t really appeal to be music/dance wise, but they sure know how to package.

OMG WHoa. This collab is kind of…new. But so exciting! Haha, I mean, I love japanese boybands like NewS and it this can get people more interested in Chinese bands, then that’s a totally awesome idea! Definitely go for it, but I just hope people won’t bring the past Japan-China relationship up and cause controversy -.-

They didn’t get rid of DoReMi. Plus, DoReMi is collaborating with eemedia, which I don’t think Johnny’s is doing.

Also…I’m not talking about all k-companies..but compare the quality of music/videos/packaging by DoReMi and Johnny’s, and there is an obvious difference. DoReMi is like this no-named, low-ranked company that even Koreans haven’t heard of, and Johnny’s is a lot more prominent and, to quote cfensi, “the granddaddy of Asian boybands.”

I’m just wondering but won’t it be the same as the Korean company? because sooner or later they are going to get tired of the Japanese like they did with the koreans right? Idk I’m just putting it out there. I don’t think one is better than the other, it’s just that each group, Japanese, Korean an Chinese all have a different music style so maybe with us joining with the Japanese we can reach an even greater audience. Idont’ know… Either way we are the ones benefitting, unless the new band turns out to be a disappointment. =x
