The beauties of tropical Sanya and the fragrance of chrysanthemum bring love and peace in Li Bingbing and Aaron Kwow's musical short.
As a part of CCTV’s musical beauty of China series, Li Bingbing and Aaron Kwok star together in a short clip focused on the chrysanthemum tea. More than tea, though, the clip shows off the beauty of the tropical islands of Hainan province’s Sanya. Watch it below from ginsengkingdom@YouTube.
Fan BIngbing for Mercedes-Benz
As the spokesperson for international brands like L’Oreal, Mercedes-Benz, and Nokia as well as numerous Chinese brands, Fan Bingbing was recently named “the most profitable female spokesperson” by the top advertising magazine in China. For example, Mercedes-Benz’s sales rose by 35% in 2011, although we can’t say how much Fan Bingbing contributed to that.
Both the commercial and the booklet came out a few months ago, but I’ve only found the photoshoot recently. Watch her commercial with racecar driver Nico Rosberg below and more photos below the cut.
“Sweet Ambassador” Fan Bingbing poses with a tempting ice cream “hot pot/fondue.” I’m generally perplexed by the high status of Haagen-Dazs in China, but I wish ice cream stores here had ice cream fondue!

Liu Yifei beautiful in both black and white "A Chinese Ghost story" OL
Following her role in A Chinese Ghost Story, Liu Yifei continues her tie with the tale by filming a commercial for the online game of the same name. In the commercial, Liu Yifei plays two characters – one in black and one in white.

In the new Baby Sister MV, the 2009 Super Girls reunite once again to "jiayou" for their new shimei's.
As the latest season of Super Girls begins, the last season’s top 10 welcomes them with a new MV. The song is written by Zeng Yike, and describes the common dream of music between the older shijie‘s and their baby sister shimei‘s of eeMedia. One of the cutest things about the 2009 girls were their friendship, and their have been several weibo updates of the girls meeting up since then. More pretty pictures of the girls below the cut.

In the ads, Wang Luodan and Han Han are portrayed as simple beings rather than as celebrities.
Actress Wang Luodan and author/racecar driver/social critic Han Han recent filmed ads for internet fashion brand Vancl 凡客, or simple guests, a new company started by the founder of 卓越 (later brought by Amazon). Watch behind the scenes of the two filming here. While Wang Luodan, with her pretty smile and fierce roles, has been a commercial favorite for a while, this marks Han Han’s first TV ad, right following fellow author Guo Jingming’s TV ad for an eyedrop.

A long time ago, in Yi Yao’s memories, the fountain was still very pretty. At that time, she had just entered school. The school’s front doors were still being fixed, so all the students entered from this back door.
During that time, the fountain would have pretty waterfalls everyday, and a lot of girls and boys sat around the fountain to eat together. From the plant in the middle of the fountain, on the statue, would fall countless baby green or soft pink buds, floating on the water surface, and being eaten by the red fishes in the water.
Until later, the front door was done building, and all the students entered that way. Slowly, no one ever came to this former door anymore.
Until that winter, when because there are no more students throwing bread crumbs into the pool, so the last fish in the pool slowly floated onto the surface, its white stomach shining a shade of green under the sunlight.
Yi Yao took off her jacket and squeezed the water out of it. Her clothes are almost all soaked.
Two puddles immediately formed under her feet, and Yi Yao raised her hand to wipe off the wet water on her face.
She turned around, and saw Gu Senxi, his pants rolled up, a boy’s strong thighs soaked in the black pool water.
He picked up the last book, shook it, opened it and then put it at the edge of the pool to dry. Then he came out of the pool.
Yi Yao didn’t care about the Gu Senxi standing behind her, grabbed the pile of wet books, and started to leave the school. As she was about to exit the school door, Yi Yao raised her head and saw Qi Ming.
In her mind flashed back that text in her cellphone like captions
–Teacher held me back for something. I can’t wait for you today. You go home first.”
And in the background, was the backs of Qi Ming and a girl walking together. The two pushed their bikes very, very slowly, Qi Ming’s face was facing the girl, her hair blown open by the wind, refreshing and clean. In Qi Ming’s backseat was a very intricate box.
–it’s hard to guess whether it’s ready to be given, or just received.
But perhaps these are no longer important.
Yi Yao walked behind them, at the same slow speed.
The wind blew on her, and the clothes touching the skin spread a wet cold around her. But she seems to have already lost the feeling of coldness.
Only that the hand hugging the books are too tight, giving her a stream of sour pain.
Movie or book trailer? The epic trailer for Mark of the Cavalier looks like it’s for an anime rather than a book.
