Autumn in My Heart remake to air in Jan., releases first MV

The new Autumn in My Heart remake, Fall in Love 一不小心爱上你, recently released its first MV, giving the audience a sneak preview of the show. Starring Meteor Shower star Zhang Han, fellow Central Drama Academy shimei and newcomer Jiang Kaitong, Korean-American actor Dennis Oh and Beijing Film Academy’s Pan Zhilin, Fall in Love will begin airing on January the 7th on Hunan TV. The drama is the first of a series self-productions by Hunan TV to be aired in January, including Palace 宫, starring Yang Mi, and 8090, March forward 8090向前冲, starring Yu Haoming.

After the Mango Films (Hunan TV) – Zonbo Media remake of Autumn in My Heart, title Fall in Love 一不小心爱上你, finished filming in October, Zonbo media has announced the remake of several other Korea dramas, including Full House.

Like with most recent remakes, the Full House remake will only keep the basic structure of the story. The male protagonist will be a young, new competition idol (sounds like a Super Boy! ), and the female protagonist will be an overseas Chinese.

Zonbo Media is most known for releasing various Chinese films in Korea, and has previous invested in various Korean dramas. According to Zonbo Media CEO, while only the Full House remake has been decided, future possibilities under discussion include remakes of Lovers in Prague and Lovers in Paris.

Drama Meteor Shower no doubt raised more than a shower last summer, and the tsunami returns this summer. As its sequel approaches airing on August the 3rd and its current reairing gets top daytime viewerships, Meteor Shower already has its stars working on new projects.

Lead actor Zhang Han will star next to Korean actor Dennis Oh in the Mango Film remake of Autumn in my heart. According to sina, the remake will be more lighthearted and cosmopolitan, but will maintain the serene sadness of the story. Although the female leads are yet to be chosen, Mango Films CEO Li Xiang said that she hopes to give newcomers chances in other important roles in the drama. His puppy movie Hearty Paws 2 will air in Korea on July 22nd.

New Hunan company headed by hostess Li Xiang to film “Autumn in My Heart” and drama starring Jimmy Lin

Li Xiang joins Long Danni as a Hunan Broadcasting CEO.

At Hunan TV, females rules. Not only are all of its major stars female – from Vicki Zhao of Huan Zhu Ge Ge and  Li Xiang of Happy Camp to the Super Girls  – it’s leadership, too, has been increasingly female. Host-turned-CEO Li Xiang (李湘) will tip the balance a little more as she take control of the third Hunan Broadcasting Systems seed company managed by a woman.

Mango Films (芒果影业), the company Li Xiang will head, has already announced a remake of Autumn in My Heart, the film “The Formation of the Party,” and is currently filming drama “Single Princess Seeking a Prince (单身公主相亲记)” starring Zhao Liang, Jimmy Lin and Dylan Kuo. Mango Films also signed film management contracts with fellow Hunan TV hosts Yang Lele (杨乐乐), Sun Xiaoxiao (孙骁骁) and Zhao Liang (赵靓). (more…)
