Jing Boran and Yao Yao’s Warm Hands MV Released!

After the holiday single “Warm Hands” between Seed Music’s starlet Yao Yao and BOBO’s Jing Boran was released on the 8th, Seed Music’s office at Beijing was flooded with calls, receiving more than 1,000 in only 3 days about where to buy the song. After learning that the special edition of the EP was limited to 10,000, fans frantically tried to buy it through the company headquarters in Taiwan. Now the MV has been released, with saccharine scenes sure to send another spike in sales.

Fu Xinbo Raises Awareness For Strays with Fashion

Fu Xinbo, of duo BOBO recently teamed up with a fashion brand to design a shirt to raise awareness of stray dogs and cats. In previous interviews,  BOBO previously spoke of their dismay at people who abandon pets. Through this collaboration, it’s hoped that both funds and awareness can be raised for stray animals. BOBO’s Jing Boran Signs with Seed Music

Yesterday, Jing Boran of cpop duo BOBO signed with lesser known Taiwanese company, Seed Music for his label. Still, under   Hua Yi management, the company’s CEO and founder Wang Zhongjun was there, residing over the proceedings and giving support, showing how important this was. It was a rare appearance, since Wang Zhonglei (the younger Hua Yi brother) usually is the one that usually is present at the company’s press conferences, even for big Hua Yi-produced films like Detective Dee. He brought along with him a symbol of Jing Boran’s contract for appearance the upcoming sequel to “Hot Summer Days”. Fromer costar Angelababy also sent her congratulations.

With Seed Jing Boran has become the labelmate of artists like Taiwan’s Kenji Wu, Landy Wen, and Yao Yao, Malaysia’s Gary Cao,and Korea’s F.Cuz.  The music of Seed ranges, but usually the more popular their artist, the better and Jing Boran, is extremely popular. Jing Boran will soon visit Taiwan.

As for the rumors about BOBO breaking up because of this, Wang Zhongjun denied this, saying that they are going solo, but the group is not dissolved. He said, people to need to grow and try new things for a diverse development, and cooperating with Seed would be one way of doing that.  Hua Yi Brothers has collaborated with many various companies in its production history such as 21st Century Fox (Hot Summer Days),  Lionsgate/Weinstein(The Forbidden Kingdom), Imax (Aftershock)and various other asian companies with great success, so  they can be said to have a lot of experience in expanding this way already. Jing Boran will certainly get lots of attention with Seed. Since Wang Zhongjun is the top of Hua Yi ladder, and both boys of BOBO are still Hua Yi artists, fans of the two can only patiently wait to see what this means for the group.

To BoBo, the one winged angels

The first time I saw BOBO, it was the pretty faces that caught my attention. Delicately carved features that would rival any female model. Yet what made me stay was not those perfect Greek proportions, but something that could not be seen with simply the eyes. This post is not news, but I needed to have it; for the friendship so far away that touched my heart so close, for my tears and smiles for two people I do not know, and for fairy tales that never came true.

He was born to be a star. Fun, approachable and simply charming, Jing Boran was what you called a natural. He could sing, he could act, he made friends with everyone, and he had what Huayi’s vice-president called a “mysterious celebrity aura.”

He worked for it. Sweet, caring and hardworking, Fu Xinbo is the silent worker. He had a face that anyone would die for, but he’s self-conscious. He took care of people, hid all his troubles on the inside, and smiled no matter how large his eye bags.

The first time they met was by chance on TV. They begun with a skit playing enemies in love, and ended the skit by walking away in each others’ arms. (more…)

How hard is it for one to find a true companion that it’s worth giving up my life for it?

After two years since their last album “The Big World,”  Duo BOBO return with new album “Let’s BOBO,” finally showcasing their cheerful youth and priceless friendship. The album has nine tracks, but most of them had been released as singles before. Although my favorite track of theirs - Love Until the End – was not released, the tragically beautiful ballad Graduation Song was enough to fill the ballad category. Not including the two with MV’s, the other new song is fastbeat Just Love.

Host XiaoQiang (XQ): Before, Fu Xinbo told me that he feels terrible when he sees feral dogs
FXB: Right, my heart hurts
XQ: But now, there are more homes for feral dogs
JBR: Right right right! A lot of dog lovers would build families for them.
XQ: I hate the people who have pets and then throw them out on the street!
JBR: That’s so irresponsible!
FXB: I especially hate people like that.
JBR: I feel so bad for the dogs.
XQ: Right, it should be like taking care of kids. You need to be responsible. I believe you guys will be good … ( I will be a great dad! ) …pet owners
FXB: He said he’ll be a good dad!

BOBO Teaches In Remote Village School; Li Bingbing goes to Copenhagen

As part of the Music Ai de 5003 project (which Top Combine and other performed for) Bobo went to a mountainous unprivileged school, bringing with them  school supplies. They acted as teachers, teaching the children songs, participating in their PE sessions, and went to the homes to get a better understanding of the conditions. They are one of many artists who have contributed in charity recently, but we could never post on them all, so this will have to be the representative of all those efforts.
