For the record, Sina didn”t make up any of these rumors. They just reported what they found from various different sources, and explicitly stated in their articles which of the sources are legit and which ones are rumors.
UPDATE2: For the first time after his lawsuit, Han Geng will go on a TV show on the 26th. He will be attending Migu Celeb School, a show that showcases up and coming artists, the most popular of which is Taihe Rye’s MIC boyband. Meanwhile, he says he has been taking business, English and acting classes to better prepare himself for the future.
Migu is a collaboration between Shanghai’s Dragon TV and China Mobile. Previously, stars who have went on migu include SHE, Jane Zhang, Wilber Pan, Kimi Qiao Renliang, He Jie and BOBO.
Included in the sina article are rumors that perhaps it is instead Taihe Rye that Han Geng will join so that he can lead MIC. An interview with Li Yuchun, who is in both eeMedia and Taihe Rye, had Li Yuchun saying that she has yet to hear of any new of him signing with eeMedia. She said that she is good friends with Han Geng and that his dancing is excellent.
And interview with Taihe Rye CEO Song Ke said that he could not comment on Han Geng’s contract lawsuit. He said that he has met Han Geng before and thought him very polite and talented. He said that “Contracts are dead, but people are alive,” said Song Ke, who then added that artists and their company need good communication

Further, another article says that the reporter has phoned Han Geng, who is currently in the US. The article said that Han Geng denied signing with eemedia, but said he’ll have to see what might happen with Taihe Rye.

UPDATE1: According to this sina microblog (twitter), Da Peng said that the rumor about Han Geng joining eemedia is not true.
According to South Korean sources, the only Chinese member of South Korean boyband Super Junior, Han Geng formally submitted papers to Seoul’s Central Court requesting termination of his exclusive contract with SM company. The details of the termination lawyers have said can not be conveniently disclosed to the public at this time.

Please no one do anything rash because of this news. Please.

The rest of the article is background info about DBSG’s lawsuit, Han Geng in China etc. I see both bad and good in this.
Usually there’s one or two hugs at a album release, but Yu Haoming’s release of his first album, “Hug” was filled with them, which made the whole affair very cute. It included those from Wei Chen and Zhu Zixiao, the supporting H2 of Meteor Shower, and from his two favorite girls – Zheng Shuang and Liu Xijun. Top Combine, whom he trained with in their early days was there to support him as well.

The Chinese Box Office just keeps climbing and climbing. For the first half of the year it reached 2.3 Billion in revenue. The overall box office for the year is estimated at 5.5 million which would show a 32% increase from last year. This is the sixth year in which it has sustained a 25% + growth. Considering that number is a percentage, China’s BO’s ability to maintain it is very impressive. And now formerly indie directors are finding that there’s no reason to stay indie.
Sixth Generation Indie Director, Wang Xiaoshuai who was last heard lashing out at commercially-successful Chinese directors, has apparently decided he has had enough of sitting on the sidelines when everyone else is taking advantage of China’s film goldmine. He plans to shoot a romance film set during the Sichuan Earthquake with a $60 million yuan budget, and says he would like to cast Han Geng. He gave choices for leading ladies as Jiang Yiyan, Tang Yan, and Gao Yuanyuan.
And this is why I keep emphasizing you can’t trust everything you read. Not only do people write things with biases, but also some people just plain make up stuff.
It’s basically like half mainland stars and half EEG people. What…is the point of Kenny Kwan? His acting looks so exaggerated, and while I don’t really seem to mind Joey Yung and Yumiko Cheng’s accents when they speak in mandarin, his bothers the heck out of me. That + the exaggerated acting is very, very painful to watch.

I have a feeling I’ll be disappointed with Zhang Junning’s part…he just looks pensive in this, and it doesn’t seem like his role is very big. And he seems to be paired with Yumiko. Ugh. I’m going to fast forward to those parts anyway.
/useless commentary about a show that I’ve posted too much on.
Edit: Whoops. I put up the wrong video before.
Edit 2: Wrap up celebration for the series took place at Han Geng’s mom’s new restaurant. Junning looks cute peering over Han Geng’s shoulder in the background. More pics.
I’ve been waiting forever to find pictures of these two dancing together and this is it I guess. I must be the only one who is going to watch this not because of Han Geng but because of Zhang Junning, even though I like Han Geng too. Zhang Juning shot to fame last year when he landed a coveted role in Five Star Hotel, a Hai Yan drama series. He’s also pretty passionate about dancing, although he never had too much formal training. Zhang Junning seems to be trying to be a triple-threat, with acting, dancing, and sometime soon singing, which was expected since he was a music major at university. Let’s hope he lives to that potential because he’s tremendous eye-candy. More pictures below.
