Regarding his situation, Haoming remains as optimistic as ever: "It is hard to bear, but I think of it as a gift that Heaven has sent me."
On the last episode of the first season Glee Sunday, Yu Haoming made a special appearance through a “special phone connection link” prepared by the director. He sang a segment from “A Song Written for You” (为你写的歌), which is one of the songs that his friends and supporters had previously sung for him. This is the first time Haoming has sung after he and S.H.E’s Selina were injured last October on the set of I Have a Date with Spring.
Haoming says the song has always been supporting him and giving him encouragement, and he hopes that he will be able to express his gratefulness through it. He also talked about his recent developments. It was reported two months ago that he had been discharged from the hospital. As of now, he is still undergoing physical therapy, but he reassured everyone that he is doing very well. Although his recovery will still take a long time, he will continue to work hard and return to everyone’s side as soon as possible. He also promised that he would be even more handsome than before.
