Ahhh you're awesome! Hahaha. It looks great.

That gif's not from An Xiang; it's from his Shen Me Dou Ke Yi music video: (you're right, though, there are quite a few loltastic and gif-able scenes in An Xiang ;D)

And this MV has always confused me because the storyline doesn't seem to match up with the song that well. I mean, I love the song, and I love the MV, but they just don't gooo together. :/

Oh yeah.... but I swear to god the exact same thing happens in one of the episodes of An Xiang. I suppose he was facing the other direction though. lol

It might've... I don't really remember, haha. I do remember Wang Luodan's character dumping her cake in her boyfriend's face, though. xD

I'm bored and am thus going to post HXM's Music videos, wheeee.

An Lian (Crush) (featuring Bianca Bai)

My Girl (featuring lots of girls)

Feng De Hai Zi (Child of the Wind)

idk why, but I'v never been able to find a good quality version of this MV... don't worry, the actual track doesn't sound this tinny

Jiu Suan Mei You Ming Tian (Even If There's No Tomorrow) (duet with Sun Li) -- ending theme for Shanghai Bund

Ni Zai Wo Xin Shang (You're On My Heart)

Hao Ren Ka (Nice Guy Card) (duet with Vicki Zhao Wei)

Ni Shi Tian Shi (You're An Angel) -- ending theme for An Xiang

Feng Sheng (The Message/Rumor) -- ending theme for The Message

Haha, I just realized that HXM actually got a lot of MVs... o_o; even if you don't count Jiu Suan Mei You Ming Tian and Feng Sheng. Lucky guy. xD

Baidu thread about his new song "Moopa" (the lyrics are in one of the posts on the first page). I dislike the song, so I'm not going to link to it, haha. Google it if you want to hear it.

I just found out his song "Moopa" was composed by Jae Chong, a famous Korean American producer, songwriter.

Jae Chong credits include almost all of Vanness Wu's 2nd album (his better album in my opinion), Elva Hsiao, La Boyz, Machi, BoA, Nicky Lee.

Other credits:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jae_Chong

Credit list for Jae Chong:

Elva Hsiao(Taiwan) First hit single “Capuccino” on her 1st debut album. (First #1 song produced by a foreign producer) (1999) “Weather Outside” and “Do You Know?” on her 2nd album (2000) *”Weather Outside” was used for a commercial campaign for DeBeer jewelry company Produced 4 tracks on 3rd album (2001) including the international hit “The One” Single “Come Closer To Me” on her 4th album (2001) plus Remixed the song “And I Know.” Produced and wrote the single “Wanna Lover” on her 5th album (2003)

Vanness Wu (2002) (Member of the Asian Super Group “F4”) Produced and wrote the song “Nah Geuh Neu Tsun”

Vanness Wu 2nd Album (2006) Composed and Produced 8 songs.

Tao Tzu (Taiwan) Single “Dreamin’” on her latest album “Momoko” (2001) used on Momoko 2001 Create Collection Fashion Show.

Park Mi Kyung (One of the biggest female artists in Korea)Produced 5 tracks on her 4th album (1999) including her singles “Faithful” and “Different Love”

L.A. BOYZ (Taiwan) (One of the top selling Pop Group in Taiwanese music history) 12 albums (1992 – 1997)

Chae Jung Ahn (One of the biggest sex symbols in Korea) The hit single “Precious Love” on her 2nd album (2001)

VOICE (R&B group Korea) Produced/Written all 10 songs on their 1st debut release including the hit single “Your Angel”.

Uhm Jung Hwa (The biggest female artist in Korea) Produced/Co-written her smash hit single “Hidden Pictures” on her 4th album (1998) (500,000+ sold). Produced/Written “Tell Me” on her 5th album (1999)

Jolin Tsai (Taiwan) (An idol star with one of the largest followings in Asia) Single “Babyface” on her 5th album. (2000)

J (Female R&B artist in Korea firmly entrenched in the top of the charts) Singles “Scent Of You” and “Tonight” on her 1st debut album.

BoA (Korea) (International Asian star; dominating both the Korean and Japanese Charts) “Let U Go” on her 2nd album (1999)

Machi (hip hop group) (Taiwan) (1st Real Hip Hop Group ever to achieve commercial success in Taiwan) Wrote & produced both 1st and the 3rd album. (2003 – 2005) including the remix of “Work It” by Missy Elliot.

Nicky Lee Album 1, 2, 3 and 4 (Taiwan/China) (Nicky won the award for the Best Male Artist of the Year in 2007)

Andrew Chou (Taiwan) (The youngest entertainer to ever achieve commercial success) Wrote & Produced 8 tracks on the 1st album including the hit single “Pi Li Pa Lah” Wrote & Produced 2 tracks on the 2nd album TENSION (Taiwan) Wrote & arranged the song “I Need U So Bad” on their album “Gotta Be Your Man” (2003)

Sandy Lam (Taiwan) Wrote & arranged the songs “Now or Never”(2000) and “You Can’t Have It Back” (2001)

So it's not that Hua Yi didn't spend money on his album. They spent money on a big name producer, but got a crappy product in return. They got screwed over majorly imo.

Vanness 2nd album is definitely the best of his.
Stanley works with Jae Chong too, since "Shades of My Mind" album i think.

hmmmm.... You know what's wrong with the song? It is the same alllll the way through. There is no part where they break up the tempo at all. I don't dislike the song, but its boring the way it is. It sounds incomplete.

Yeah, you have a good point there. I also think the lyrics are a bit strange, although I admit I haven't been paying attention to the Chinese parts. The English parts are just weird to me, lol. I still can't keep a straight face while hearing "Moo Pa."

Snippet of new song? Hei Mao Yu Niu Nai (Black Cat And Milk)
One of the tags is for Summer's Desire, so I'm guessing this is one of the theme songs or inserts.

Really? That sounds interesting... I'm so sick of waiting for this drama to air, though. I thought it was supposed to come out in March (and it's March now!) but apparently it got pushed back to summer, aaargh. :wall:

Stills from MOOOO PA. (Have I mentioned that HXM is hot?)

LOL. That placates me...somewhat. xD

@leanna: I know, right? Same with his album. None of this "sometime in March / mid-March" stuff.

Speaking of his album, another new song, Shou Bu Liao. I think it's a decent song, nothing special, though. Love the Engrish: "I ruuuuv you, I neeed you." Gawd, he better have some nice slow songs on his album.

Taiwan version of Moopa is available for preorder on Yesaia. Expected release date is March 24.

Posted description:
Based on the central idea of "music that can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere", Huang's new album Moopa offers a buffet of music styles on its attractive plate. The title track, short for "Move Party", is an upbeat dance anthem written by Korean composer Jae Chong and Taiwanese lyricist Yao Chien. What's more, the album contains Huang's hit duet "Nice Guy Card" with buddy Vicki Zhao, the eco-themed ballad "You are on My Mind", and the Chinese-flavored "Reunion". Also included are two theme songs, namely The Message (from the 2009 blockbuster film of the same name) and "Black Cat and Milk" (from idol drama Paomo zhi Xia).

Tracklist:
1. Moopa 暮趴
2. 風聲 (Feng Sheng)
3. 團團圓圓 (Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan)
4. 我的快樂不收費 (Wo De Kuai Le Bu Shou Fei)
5. 你說的對 (Ni Shuo De Dui)
6. 好人卡 (Hao Ren Ka)
7. 你在我心上 (Ni Zai Wo Xin Shang)
8. 受不了 (Shou Bu Liao)
9. 黑貓與牛奶 (Hei Mao Yu Niu Nai)
10. Moopa 暮趴 Remix

So essentially, three of these songs have already been released. But yesssss about the album including Feng Sheng. And Ni Zai Wo Xin Shang is a pretty nice song, too.

Re: Huang Xiaoming

Postby Jo. » March 14th, 2010, 6:32 pm

A few days ago, Huang Xiaoming was at Shanghai filming a commercial for the watch brand Tissot. As the ad's primary desire was to display the everyday actions and attitude of their spokesperson, they chose a nearby nursing home as the filming location. The elderly people there happily welcomed him. While the staff was applauding him for smoothly completing the filming, a 90+-year-old elder, assisted by one of the staff members, walked over with an autograph book and pen, and said to Xiaoming, "We all really like you! We always see you on TV. Can we have your autograph?"

While he signed her book, he wished good health to all of the elderly there and asked if they needed any other type of assistance. "Allow charity to become a habit" has always been one of Huang Xiaoming's goals, and he immediately decided to use cash to make a donation, so the nursing home could get more equipment and facilities, and thus make the lives of the elders more cozy.

Aww...we should make a post with that translation and this article. I love it when nursing homes pop up in celeb news because they should have more attention.

And I polished the translation and added in a few more details from the sina article. If you want to post it on the blog, I say go for it! :]

I posted it in the blog! Love the bit about charity must become a habit. I think...it's one of the greatest goals we can achieve really. When it becomes simply natural to do kind things for others.
