Asian netizens' new craze with beggar, calls him "stylish"

A thread made on Tianya, a popular mainland Chinese forum, about a beggar discovered on the streets of Ningbo was suddenly made popular by its viewers. He was also crowned as the "First, best, magnificent non-Celeb hottie" by the netizens.




Given his wild vibe and excellent "mix n' match" clothing style, he attracted immense popularity on Chinese forums and some crazy "fans" began to "human flesh" search him, trying find more information on this beggar, such as the streets he often begs on.

Is this an act?

Some netizens gave doubts to whether this is just an act on the internet for fame, but many refuted that there are no traces of Photoshop, and the man's physical appearance fits his status as a beggar. To them, this is truly a "jewel in the rough", not the works of an actor or model.

Cause might be (according to netizens) that he was dumped by a woman he once loved, hence he's sometimes seen with women's clothing on the streets, imitating the woman he once loved. He used to be an artist from a province in Northern China.

Apparently the beggars real identity is now revealed: his real name is 程国荣, once went to the army then travelled to Ningbo to support his family, but hasn't contacted his family since. The two interviewed in the video are his mother and brother.
